Jennifer Love Hewitt is an actress and singer/songwriter. Her claim to fame lies primarily in teen popular culture, with her recent success on the television series Ghost Whisperer serving to add a new element to her career.

Hewitt began acting in commercials and acted on the Disney television series Kids Incorporated. She became popular for her sweaters and her general cuteness on the television series Party of Five, a favourite amongst the teen demographic. After finishing Party of Five in 1999, she turned to the film industry.

Jennifer Love Hewitt made her mark with I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. The two horror films were hits with teen slasher movie fans but didn't do all that well with critics. Despite this Hewitt's popularity was on the rise. After a few more movies, including Can't Hardly Wait and Heartbreakers, and some concentration on her music career, Hewitt landed the lead role on television's Ghost Whisperer in 2005.

She remains a popular fixture in the world of men's magazines, too. She has consistently landed on FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World list from 1997 to 2008 and has appeared in Maxim's Hot 100 List as well.
