Jessica Simpson

Few celebrities embraced blondeness more than Jessica Simpson. She burst onto the scene as a pop singer but vaulted to more exposure during her marriage to Nick Lachey. Their show, Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica, spawned Simpson's famous puzzling line about Chicken of the Sea tuna. Their divorce in 2005 predictably put an end to the reality show.

Her movie career highlight was portraying Daisy Duke in the 2005 remake of The Dukes of Hazzard, but that was about it for the big screen.

In 2006 she began dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Throughout that season it was sometimes believed that Romo's poor play was because he was distracted by his celebrity girlfriend in the stands. But the biggest uproar came the week before a Cowboys playoff game, in which Romo and Simpson were spotted vacationing in Mexico.

In 2007 Jessica Simpson tried to switch genres from pop music to country. Her first concert didn't go so well, drawing boos. She later progressed to free concerts after baseball games. But it seems no matter what project she undertakes, she'll never be able to buck the "dumb blonde" label, whether or not it's accurate.
