Or... the day that we decided this was what we wanted to do with our lives. It came, quite fittingly, on 06/06/06, the first time that we had been to the Star and Garter in Manchester, and surprisingly, it was at a jesu show. The David Qualey youTube recording of Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring by Bach is a very interesting one, although the song has been played by many guitarists globally on classical guitar, his interpretation is rather unique. Pyramids - S/T Review April 28th, 2008 | Pyramids. Pyramids 2008. Hydra Head. 4.5 stars. If the term ‘bliss-metal’ doesn’t make you cringe too much, then I would use it to describe Pyramids, an experimental metal/shoegaze band from Texas that follows with the heavy ambient drones of label mates Jesu.

I just re-watched the Vinyl documentary with Nicci yesterday, and burnt a copy of it to CD for one of my bosses, so of course I feel compelled to speak about record collecting today. I'm not going to discuss the process of acquiring new albums, or the analyze the psychology of someone who attempts to fill holes in their life with material possessions.
