JibJab

JibJab is an Internet comedy studio that produces original, often politically themed, videos, as well as online greetings called "Sendables." Their "Starring You" technology allow users to incorporate their own photos into viral videos and e-cards. The website also hosts user-generated video jokes and sells personalized merchandise.

Started in 1998 by brothers Evan and Gregg Spiridellis, JibJab began by producing ecards for other companies as well as animated videos. They came to greater prominence with a parody of the 2004 election, This Land, that landed them on the Today Show, Jay Leno, CNN, and a host of other media outlets. Since then, they have continued to produce political, year in review, and other original videos while building their business on the fee-based Sendables services.
