Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel is a comedian who hosts the late-night talk fest Jimmy Kimmel Live on the ABC network.

The one-hour show features a variety of celebrity guests and the "Jimmy Kimmel Concert Series," which closes the show with live performances from the Pontiac Garage, which have featured everyone from big names like Coldplay and Kanye West to up-and-coming new artists. Kimmel's extended TV family also includes characters like Cousin Sal, Uncle Frank, and parking lot security guy Guillermo — all of whom participate in comedy bits with Kimmel, like Guillermo's "Hollywood Roundup" and "This Week In Unnecessary Censorship".

Jimmy Kimmel got his start as a radio DJ and went on to co-host cable TV's The Man Show with his pal Adam Carolla (also a frequent guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live). Kimmel's unique "guys take" on comedy has also made the ABC show a hit. He has gone on to host such awards shows as the American Award Awards.

Kimmel's on and off relationship with comedian Sarah Silverman has also made him a favorite of gossip and celebrity blogs like Hot Momma Gossip.
