Horsey's cartoon is so on the money. The wingnuts detest McCain and once the Democrats move on to focusing on McCain, the rest of the country is going to see just how much McCain is on the wrong side of both the war and the economy.

I may have posted this photo here once before; it shows John Phillip Law, disc producer Kim Aubry and I at the recording session for the DANGER: DIABOLIK audio commentary back in 2004. And now the LA TIMES has reported John's death, two days ago, at the age of 70. I'm in shock.

No matter how you look at it, this fall we will have 2 liberals running for President. Either it will be Obama and McCain or Hillary and McCain. The 1st question is which is the least objectionable liberal? The obvious answer is McCain. The 2nd question is do I want to play a part putting either liberal into office? The answer is, I'm still not sure.

(Short view: It's a significant endorsement, of course, and the timing is excellent for Obama -- the CW was that the window for Edwards to have any meaningful influence on the race was closed, but, instead, his endorsement is a major boost for Obama at just the right time.

I don't know how many final nails have to be driven into Hillary's coffin for her finally to admit that the game is up, but the endorsement of Obama by John Edwards has surely got to make even Nosferatu Clinton pause for thought.

McCain Who? May 15th, 2008 by Kevin Most of you are probably well aware that I’m not exactly an enthusiastic supporter of John McCain. A sentiment that is even more difficult because I realize that McCain doesn’t have a whelk’s chance in a supernova of ever carrying Minnesota….so why bother? I mean seriously, first we have McCain drinking the borebull warming kool-aid.

While the conventional meaning of a coalition government is a joining of representatives from different  political parties, perhaps a coalition government made up of the major contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination is the way to go should the Democrats win the White House in November?
