Last week, Radio Exile’s Jon Sevastra had an opportunity to sit down at the IFC corporate offices (in the conference room of all places - “indie conference room?”) with New York rockers ZO2 [Official Site, Myspace] to discuss Z Rock [IFC Site] their new TV show on IFC, the state of arena rock, touring with KISS and Poison, TV theme songs and more.

The last couple of days have been eventful for the Oakland Raiders as special teams ace Jarrod Cooper has retired, several players put on the disabled list, the cuts beginning, as well as a few players added to give Lane Kiffin the competition that he has been asking for.

I have been immensely proud of my country, Great Britain, over the last couple of weeks. I think this is, in part at least, due to the fact that most of our politicians are on holiday rather than our TV screens.

Besides the fan rivalry, at least 50 players per team will be playing for their careers I keep hearing from both 49er and Raiders fans that the game means nothing. Nothing? Like pretty much everything in life, I guess it’s all in the perspective that you look at it from.

Hi all… I am a huge James Bond fan. Was a big fan of the books not long after I was introduced to Dr. No as a kid. Ian Fleming wasn’t the greatest author in the world, but his world was so vivid that I didn’t really care. I devoured all of the novels I could find and eventually read all of the originals from Casino Royale to The Man with the Golden Gun.
