New Kids on the Block, seen here at today's press conference, formally made their comeback in a performance on the "Today" show this morning after 15 years. Even in dreary, rainy weather, the turnout was one of the largest in the show's history proving their fans are still as eager to hear them as ever.

That whole thug appeal of Donnie Wahlberg waving his arms around while singing about “The Right Stuff” isn’t the same when it’s 2008 and he’s in a suit on a morning show.

It looks like it was raining fairly hard this morning in New York, but that didn’t stop women around my age from showing up to drool and reminisce over the reunited New Kids on the Block when they appeared at Rockefeller Plaza. Since I was never into boy bands, I can’t say I share their enthusiasm.
