Lauren Conrad

Lauren Katherine Conrad (born February 1, 1986) is an American television personality, actress, fashion designer and author. She is best known to television viewers for her starring roles on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills.

Lauren Conrad is famous for turning teenage melodrama into a big time enterprise. She took reality television by storm in 2004 with a starring role on MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The series was a bona fide success and Lauren was subsequently cast as the lead role in the spin-off series The Hills alongside Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge. She picked up the Teen Choice Award for "Choice Female Reality Star" in 2006, 2007 & 2008 for her role on the show.

Lauren Conrad launched her very own signature clothing line in March 2008, during the Mercedes Benz L.A. Fashion Week. Her debut book LA Candy was released in June of 2009.
