I'm not a huge fan of plainly dramatic films, unless they're really well done, I can't get into them. I'd heard good things about Sherrybaby, specifically Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance, so I thought my wife and I would give it a chance. The film is about Sherry getting released on parole for stealing to provide her heroin addiction.
