Leadership
A good leader works on implementing 6 essential skills to build a quality and effective team.
1. Observe - Observing employees, procedures and flow is foundational to making adjustments and improving results.
2. Assess Employee Performance - Assessing employee performance and rewarding them is key for building a successful team.
3. Implement Key Development Programs - Identify weaknesses in the team and build strategies to strengthen them.
4. Demonstrates Working Knowledge and Expertise - Possess strong know-how of the business operating model. If not then the leader can have clear communication with other experts in the team to gain knowledge and expertise.
5. Good Decision Making - Consider all important factors before making any decision and be open to suggestions. A good leader considers all aspects before taking decisions.
6. Ability to Conduct and Evaluate Research - A good leader always relies on statistical data then being emotional.
An expert leader is always pro active and not reactive. Practicing these 6 leadership skills builds a solid foundation for Integrity and Responsiveness.
