What Good Are Movie Stars Anyway?
http://cinemoose.com/ what-good-are-movie-stars-anyway/Movie stars are not an endangered species. Nor are they the key to a successful movie like most blue suited penguins (i.e. studio executives and producers) think. You see, the blue suited penguins believe that movie stars are essential to a film’s success. That’s why they’re willing to show the money and pay the big bucks for stars.

valley of elah
http://www.8sjtss.cn/ valley-of-elah/Movie Review - In The Valley of Elah (2007)Watching In The Valley of Elah within such a historic context is not possible without going through a range of burning emotions. This Paul Haggis (of Crash) written and directed work is a downer for sure.

Lions For Lambs
http://lukeford.net/ blog/ ?p=2897What a bad movie. I can’t believe I spent $3 at the video store to rent this. None of it ran true for me. Meryl Streep plays an obnoxious reporter. With such an intrusive and obnoxious interviewing technique, she’d never last. A good interviewer doesn’t include value judgments in his questions.

United Artists Pushes Valkyrie Back to February 2009. Tom Cruise Career Speculation Builds.
http://www.slashfilm.com/ 2008/ 04/ 08/ united-artists-pushes-valkyrie-back-to-f…“Slide to the left, now slide to the right.” The Internets today: Tom Cruise’s career is on life support, yadda yadda. DVD’s I Bought This Week - April 8th
http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/ dvd-weekly/ dvds-i-bought-this-week-april-8th.…A wise man once said “It’s not just about seeing Star Wars two weeks before everyone else. You’ve gotta plow through crap like Marie Antoinette and Catwoman as well.” I have the fortune of being able to see all of the films that I want, and find out that they are only worth one viewing (or less) before I would willingly pay for the DVD…and subsequently end up hating myself later.
