A SWAT team in Lynwood, California shot a man to death trying to rescue his 2-year-old daughter, who he had held hostage for several hours. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Byron Ward said that deputies responding to a call found the [girl’s wounded mother] outside the house.
