The Fratellis return on June 10 with the release of their new album, Here We Stand, via Fallout Records. In support of the release, the Scottish natives have announced dates for a short, summer tour. Tour dates below… Here We Stand is the followup to 2006’s crticially acclaimed Costello Music.

Johnson www.monolithfestival.com September 13 and 14 Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO In its inaugural year, Monolith was referred to by many people as an “indie fest” and that’s not all together wrong, but the real way to describe this behemoth of a festival is “new music.” Like last year, this year’s Monolith with feature five stages and more than 50 bands.

Summer is upon us and that means festival season is in full swing. 2008 is a banner year in the history of US Festivals, both in terms of quality and and quantity. It wasn't so long ago that Coachella and Bonnaroo stood alone as revolutionary festivals steering the US scene in new directions.

A festival with Justice and Devotchka as the headliners? Where's the Jay-Z or Joe Jackson? Where's the Weiland? The ironically named Monolith Festival, which will hit Red Rocks Ampitheater on Sept. 13 and 14, is keeping the scale kind of small, but kind of awesome as well.

The Monolith Festival website has finally posted the official lineups for this years festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater.  The festival runs on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th and includes 5 stages and more than 50 bands (and counting).
