2008-05-12_Morel Hunting
http://sershenbros.net/ OutdoorPursuits/ ?p=109Amy, Nate, and I decided to go climb a bluff to see what was happening on the south slope of it in the Elm Trees in search of Morels. We found that the ferns are still unfurling, the wood rue are still blooming, and more, we found a few shooting stars blooming. All in all it was a great hike.

Morels: Hunting vs. Cultivating

I guess if one doesn’t want to create their own little morel ‘farm’ like I do, then one must go to where the wild morel mushrooms are. Now, to me, that sounds like a lot of work.
