I mentioned last month that the new book with Sunny Mehta and Matt Flynn was coming along well. Since that post I took a weeklong trip to New Orleans to visit Sunny, and we used that time to really crank hard on the manuscript. I don’t give you guys too many updates on my life and projects, so I figured it was time. The last few months have been extremely hectic in Ed Miller land. In July, Elaine and I dragged ourselves back across the country and bought a nice little foreclosure home in Las Vegas.

I’m not actually sure that anyone thought the Atlanta Falcons would have the same record as the Packers going into this game. Due to a rough stretch hit by the Packers, they do. Losses to the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have set the Packers back to .500, tied for first place in the NFC South with the Chicago Bears.

The Atlanta Falcons are one of the surprise teams in the league at 2-2, and have a shot to improve over .500 on Sunday if the Pack has to turn to backup QB Matt Flynn when the two teams meet at Lambeau Field. The Falcons fell for their second straight road loss last week to the Panthers, but continue to show signs of being a team that is clearly no push over.
