When a bad movie comes along, people in my particular business turn into giddy little children, hungry for the snack that is to come. We are ready to take in these epic failures of cinema, chew them up and spit them out with the movie review equivalent of drunk Uncle Charlie’s charred chicken breasts that ruined last year’s Labor Day cookout.

Not too long ago I downloaded all the stills and information for this week's MGM release, College. However, I did nothing with it because, let's face it, this movie looks pretty stupid and I wasn't going to give it any kind of serious attention.

Welcome to Zombieland. Who woulda thunk the zombie craze would still be going strong at the multiplex? Yet here we have Woody Harrelson signing on to star in a new horror comedy from the writers who brought you The Joe Schmoe Show.

We know that the end of June is technically the midpoint of the calendar year, six months down with six to go, but that doesn’t mean that it is exactly the mid-point of the year in film. Around here, we like to believe that the end of July is, in fact, the middle of the year in film.

I rented “Meet The Spartans” DVD from Videoezy shop, since it’s a new release the DVD could only be rent for 1 day only as stated on the box. The start of the movie is funny but later part of the movie isn’t funny. I did not enjoy this movie as it’s like a musical story-telling movie.

Meet the Spartans is a 2008 parody film produced and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. Similar to past movies, such as Scary Movie, along with its spin-offs Epic Movie and Date Movie, it pokes fun at various movies in a juvenile manner.

Okay, so I know it's not Monday yet, but I felt the need to share something with you. As some of you know, I love movies. The art of film is a way to tap into the hearts, minds, and imaginations of people everywhere in ways not possible in other media.
