Studies have come to the conclusion that migraines may result from a series of reactions in the central nervous system caused by changes in your body or in the environment. We call these changes “triggers” because they can go on to produce inflammation in the blood vessels and nerves that surround the brain. The result is a pulsating migraine headache. It is important to be aware of such triggers so you can avoid the onset of a migraine which can be so debilitating

The most prevalent type of migraine is a throbbing headache which is often one-sided, beginning in a specific area on one side of your head. This type of migraine spreads and builds up in intensity over the next hour or two, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light or sound.
