Victoria's Secret angel Miranda Kerr was born on April 20, 1983 in Gunnedah, Australia. As one of the world’s most sought-after supermodels, Miranda Kerr has graced the pages of some of the most renown fashion magazines in the industry, including Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Vogue.

Miranda Kerr started her modeling career at the tender age of thirteen when she won a local modeling competition for an Australian teen magazine. Local media started expressing concern over Kerr's young age shortly thereafter. The controversy raised concerns about the acceptable age at which girls should start modeling. Nonetheless, Miranda gracefully handled the controversy and parlayed her newfound notoriety into a burgeoning career. She would spend the next several years modeling in various runway and print campaigns for popular brands like Levi's and BabyPhat before landing a coveted cosmetics contract as one of the faces of Maybelline.
