I’m surprised more sites aren’t talking about this since it was talked about on Japan Probe. Google’s street view is now available for Tokyo!. I almost instantly started to search around Akihabara to see what I could find. It seems the Google street view car cruised around Tokyo during the mornings to avoid traffic.

Mister Donut, that fastfood chain that emerged during the time when donuts were the craze of people from years back is still around. Though they are not as aggressive as before, they are still pretty much up and about. They are not as strong as before but that does not mean that they will not resort to advertising to help their cause.

The ads are so kawaii! We seldom see such cute ads in Singapore do we? Taiwanese are culturally similar to Japanese in their penchant for over-the-top cutesy stuff. Oh, and the donuts are delicious too! I am sure Mister Donut will be a hit if it’s available in Singapore.

Without donuts being part of the plan when I travel, they seem to show up with some regularity. While Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts seek to provide a consistent experience across geographies, there are also very unique experiences available in the very same category.

It has been weeks since I've been craving for Mister Donut. Since I wasn't able to find a Mister Donut stand or a store, I opted for Dunkin Donuts and Go Nuts Donuts instead. Then as if my request was answered...finally! I found a stall at the mall. Each donut costs Php12.00.

Any of you remember Mister Donut? Any guesses on the year of this ad? Sigh. I wish we had a Dunkin’ Donuts here in Great Falls. I’ve tried Hempl’s, but their donuts are just so-so. More RETRO here.

After buying Dunkin' Donuts last week, I went out looking for Mister Donut at 1 o'clock in the morning. I went to Shell Select in Magallanes because I know that they carry Mister Donut but when checked it out, they don't have any more of those delicious donuts.
