Two Views on Leadership Stories
http://astoriedcareer.com/ 2008/ 09/ two-views-on-leadership-storie.htmlSusan Scanlon writes about the Leadership Story in The Type Reporter, a newsletter about [Myers-Briggs] personality type “and how it affects you in all stages of life.” Her husband, John, developed the concept of the Leadership Story, “a narrative that excites people about what you stand for.” John,

Don't Hate Me Because I'm an ESFP
http://nocleaninghere.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ dont-hate-me-because-im-esfp.htmlThis is to all the people I annoy because I am scattered, live for the moment, don't think before I speak (bluntly), don't take criticism well, seem over-zealous in trying to please and entertain others, appear shallow in my pursuit of entertainment and enjoyment, hate rules, and don't structure my time and days in a more orderly fashion.

An Open Letter to Robert Jacobs
http://jeffreyellis.org/ stinker/ ?p=194Dear Mr. Jacobs, Oh, for the love of shit, Good Sir! Pardon me as I squeegee copious amounts of egg from my face! But rest assured, it is the finest Hungarian partridge egg, poached and served Bennedict with a sprig of parsley and a mimosa, and not any such thing as pedestrian as a hen’s egg.

My Evil Mastermind Lair
http://jeffreyellis.org/ stinker/ ?p=187Lately I’ve been putting a lot of thought into the design of my evil mastermind lair. If you’ve been reading The Stinker for a while, it should come as no surprise to you that I’m an evil mastermind. So it’s not like I’m revealing any startling secret here. Hell, I wrote the damn book on evil masterminds.

http://blog.pjsattic.com/ corvus/ 2008/ 08/ monday-meme-video-game-perspective/I’m posting the Monday Meme a bit early so that people looking to idle away their time on the internet this weekend have something to do. Got a moment to help me out? I was talking about 3rd person games vs. 1st person games with a lay person (gentlemen in his upper 40s who plays with his teenaged son) the other week.

ENTP
http://www.thetriforce.com/ newblog/ ?p=1438ENTP 5 August 2008 at 11:16 pm by ste I’ve had a strange, stupid, fractious day on a management training course but I’m not going to go into details. I am fairly sure there is an episode of The Office about this and though many astonishing, mortifying things happened it seems wrong to detail them here.

Which personality types are associated with leadership?
http://crossderry.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 05/ what-personality-types-are-associ…Trick question… d a morton’s (blog here) comment on my original Personality Types and Leadership post (here) made me realize I hadn’t been clear. I believe that one’s personality type does not determine one’s leadership potential. However, there are some tendencies based on my own observations and insights that I’ll steal and pass off as my own pass along from others.

Quick post on other personality type approaches
http://crossderry.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 07/ 29/ other-personality-type-approaches…As I noted in an earlier post, the logo-centric metaphor of Myers-Briggs is limiting; other approaches leverage graphical and color metaphors to good effect: Enneagrams — A friend of mine turned me on to this approach. I don’t understand the nuances — this site appears to be a good intro — but three aspects struck me: Each Enneagram personality type has a coherent narrative.
