New Home Sales Up 2.4 Percent in July

The report also indicated continuing contraction in the number of new-homes for sale as builders keep a tight rein on inventories to help restore better balance between market supply and demand.

Sales Expectations Improve for Next Six Months

Some Quick Housing Numbers

Southern California home sales posted a year-over-year gain in seven of the eight counties making up the region. The only county that showed a loss of sales was Los Angeles in which sales were down 3.2%.
