Edward sounds like the new Mr. Darcy.
http://fullmoon.typepad.com/ chaos/ 2008/ 05/ edward-sounds-l.html"One evening my roommate came into the living room and said, “What page are you on?” I said, “page ##.” She said, “I just finished that part, and Katherine, no man is ever going to love us that way. This is why I hate boys.”

This Summer
http://levelonewriter.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ this-summer/I plan on writing more here as this summer goes on. This one will be extremely productive, should I actually get everything done I intend to. Currently, I’m beginning character work on a new novel. I plan on completing the first draft by the end of the summer. May is my planning month.

The Write Stuff and Why I Want to Have It.
http://mylifeonthenet.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ the-write-stuff-and-why-i-want-to-have-…To say I have read many books would be a very large overstatement. Unfortunately, being aware of my upbringing reminds me of how little I wasfascinated by the printed page. Needless to say, I was a tv junkie at a young age. The odd thing about this realisation is that, as I’m entering my adulthood, is that I feel bad about abandoning this medium.

Still walking those streets
http://awalkabout.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ still-walking-those-streets/“Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.” — Moliere After the joy that was NaNoWriMo last November, when my family and I agreed I could throw everything into those 30 days and write a novel, I’ve worked on many writing projects, including this blog, in off-hours from real life.

Three Rough Drafts
http://thommalyn.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ three-rough-drafts.htmlWow, a post about writing? I bet y'all are saying, "I thought this had become a hiking blog." :) Nah, not a hiking blog, but the blog of a writer who loves to hike. Anyway, Seventy Days of Sweat Round Three ends on May 15. I've racked up 114,000 total words, half of which I had to scrap in order to restructure Heart's Chalice, and half of which applies to the rewrite.

Making peace with Calliope* and Francis de Sales**
http://noveledades.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ making-peace-with-calliope-and-f…A few days ago I downloaded a program named yWriter, an open source word processor specifically targeted for writers. The thing that makes it so special is that it gives you the ability to divide chapters into individual scenes, which you can then reorganize and re-categorize into other chapters and other scenes.

As you can see from my little word meter thingy I’m coasting along nicely with ‘If I Were a Rich Man’. It’s day 12 for me and I’m at 14,330 words. I think I’ve dropped off the pace a bit over the past two days. Yesterday with it being Mother’s Day, I didn’t get any writing done.
