Necklace

The necklace, as with most articles of  jewelry,is usually designed to be an eye catcher. Worn by women (the male version is referred to as a chain) it can be made from precious metals (most commonly Silver and Gold), with which it will usually be accompanied by one or more gemstones. It can also be made from rope of some kind such as hemp and pearl strands, which is more often known as a lariat. You will find this type of necklace style more often in tribal gemstone necklaces which are often accompanied by wood carvings or animal bone. Ranging in length from 14 inches to 35 inches usually, the necklace is worn for many occasions including as wedding jewelry  and is considered both formal and informal.

The Jewelry blog gives a basic blog list of articles about the subject of necklaces. Its structure is basic with few sub headings and/links. However the content itself is basic so a more extravagant site is perhaps not needed.
