(512) Brewing officially released its first beers, the WIT and the Pale, into the wild today! The (512) WIT is available now at the Draught House Pub and Brewery on Medical Parkway. The (512) PALE is currently available at Uncle Billy’s Brew & Que on Barton Springs Road.

The 21st Amendment Brewery’s cans debut on store shelves today in San Francisco and BevMo stores around California. Sand Creek Brewing (Downing, WI) Pioneer Lager From this relatively new brewery in the very old brewing state of Wisconsin, Pioneer lager is very coppery and pours with a very thick, very white head, despite what seems to be little relative carbonation. The head dissipates into a thin, light lace.

The Blueberry Ale from Blue Point Brewing Co is the second Blueberry Beer we’ve reviewed here at The Brew Club - the other being Wild Blue, which tasted to me more like some kind of home-made wine than a flavored beer.

July is Oregon’s craft beer month, for a list of events go here. I’m going to highly recommend attending the Belmont-Station Puckerfest, which runs July 14-20 here in Portland. Today I made my way down to the Puckerfest, a celebration of sour beers. I had never been to Belmont-Station before and it really blew me away.
