Apple filed Wii Remote-like patent

Not that unusual, until you hear the Wii Remote-like part: it also uses a sensor bar that you put in front of the TV to detect 3D movement.

EA turns a wrist flip into a heel flip with Skate It

While the video doesn’t show actual game footage, it’s nice to know that Skate It will take full advantage of the motion sensing controls for various stunts and tricks.

I’d record it and show you but then I’d die from embarrassment. You see, I can easily handle any level the game throws at me: no problem! Make me fight Bowser and all of a sudden my skills fail me and it turns into something that reminds bystanders of Bambi Meets Godzilla.
