ISO rejects appeals against OOXML
http://www.csamuel.org/ 2008/ 08/ 16/ iso-rejects-appeals-against-ooxmlSo OOXML, the spec that nobody implements, not even Microsoft, and which isn’t even publicly available in its final form has had the four big appeals against it rejected. LinuxWorld 2008 Prediction #7: Standards
http://www.sutor.com/ newsite/ blog-open/ ?p=2463Although I’ve previously published the slides for the talk I gave at LinuxWorld 2008 in San Francisco, I thought it might be useful to add some additional comments in the blog about each of the eight predictions I made.
