Nina Garcias The One Hundred In Stores Now
So I got my copy of Nina Garcia's The One Hundred yesterday. What an incredibly nice book. Im not sure why I was surprised by how nice it was, other than the price is so right, I wasn't expecting such a thick, heavy book.

http://paultan.org/ archives/ 2008/ 08/ 30/ european-f1-gp-2008-valencia/I have to say, the inaugural race at Valencia that transpired is a bit of a letdown. The track, albeit a street circuit, promised a lot more than it delivered in terms of racing. There were very little overtaking or wheel-to-wheel stuff. However, thanks to the Ferrari team, there were still plenty of controversies that will set tongues wagging.

So cool for (pre)school
http://bathtubjunkie.net/ ?p=1130When my mom left for the airport yesterday, I decided to take Lucas shopping for his preschool supplies. I thought that it might help take my mind off missing her (nope!). I’ve been *so* excited about this new milestone for him. It was our very *first* time shopping for school supplies! Of course, I took pictures.

“We have come to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. “
http://www.thepopview.com/ wordpress/ ?p=665As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t write much about current events on this blog. I don’t feel as qualified as some of the great political bloggers I read. But every four years I get swept up heavily in politics and it’s almost impossible for it not to creep into my writing.
