OLTL Experiment: the Verdict I’d been struggling to come up with the appropriate rating system to express my take on the last two weeks of One Life to Live. A rating out of ten? Stars? Thumbs up/thumbs down? Pass/fail? In the end however, I’ve decided to keep it simple.

While watching VH1’s “Best Week Ever”, I saw a short bit about how Snoop Dogg made an appearance on the daytime soap “One Life To Live“, and he even somehow managed to re-do the theme song (whether it was just for that episode or for the series from here until the next time they change it was left unclear).

It is a well established fact on this blog that I love and am obsessed with One Life To Live. I am a very casual viewer or All My Children and mildly glance at General Hospital. But my love of OLTL is true and undying and I am always hungry for news, spoilers and speculation of anything having to do with this soap.

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

So Snoop has REALLY been reaching out to a different demographic while promoting Ego Trippin, in some ways, It’s the maturation of Snoop Dogg. Some people just aren’t digging it, but fuck them. Snoop’s been putting out superb gangsta music for the past 15 years, if he wants to switch up his style a bit and diversify, it’s no big deal.

OLTL Experiment: Day Seven Tuesday 6 May This episode was loaded down with a combination of (a) classic soap tricks, for better or worse; (b) speeding up strike stories to get rid of them, I assume; and (c) exposition that was both helpful and a stepping off point for the next stage of the stories.
