Tomorrow, on the way to Parliment…. If you see something like this tomorrow somewhere on the road leading to parliment house, you know who they are and what they are going there for. I dont expect there will be police outriders accompanying them, but please… with due respect, do give way to them as they are on a national mission.

Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim won big

    http://www.ibnjuferi.com/ dato-seri-anwar-ibrahim-won-big/

Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim won big Comments (0) August 27th, 2008 It was never in doubt that DSAI would win his seat at Permatang Pauh. The question was, by how much? So when I saw the news and the final results shown was around 31K votes, it proves without doubt that the whole BN campaign in the constituency was an utter failure.

Anwar’s Permatang Pauh Triumph the Dawn of Democracy? Maybe Not.

    http://mrdefinite.com/ ?p=1834

Without any surprise, Malaysiakini is reporting that Anwar has unofficially won with a majority of 16,210 votes against Arif Shah in the Permatang Pauh by-election. While the wind of change has been exemplified in the March 8 general election, Anwar’s second wave of political triumph this year does not guarantee a more democratic society.

Posted by mindspring on August 26, 2008 As people in Permatang Pauh go out to vote, we throughout the country can only wonder what is happening up there. What is the atmosphere like, who is winning, who is losing. A couple of things stand out clearly from this by elections and irrespective of the outcome, these will stand true: 1.
