PSIS negotiations adjourned
http://finsec.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 04/ 28/ psis-negotiations-adjourned/Talks with PSIS to resolve outstanding issues including pay parity, staffing levels and a 5% pay increase were adjourned last week as the PSIS bargaining team did not have a mandate from their Board to negotiate beyond their previous offer. The PSIS Board will be meeting on 2 May, ahead of further negotiations set down for 7 May.

Union members win public support over wage claim

The petition was emailed to Finsec members but has also been forwarded on as a significant number of public signatories put their name to the call for fair and freely negotiated wage increases.

Spotless and PSIS not giving employers a good name

First we have Spotless Cleaning company which last year had to be compelled to accept a nationwide deal that everyone else in the health sector had signed up to, to raise the living wages of cleaners and cooks in our public hospitals.

S&P says liquidity the key in future ratings
