Pageflakes CEO resigns, LiveUniverse integration complete?

Four months ago, Pageflakes, the independent StartPage startup that trailed against Netvibes was acquired by Media Company LiveUniverse , this brought me to the conclusion that we should see a Media Integrated Startpage pageflakes revamp coming from LiveUniverse. this has not happened yet.

Have a look at this nice example of the use of personal start page software (iGoogle, Netvibes, Pageflakes etc.) by medical libraries for their users. Comparable to what we are trying to do with our Netvibes Universe (http:// www.netvibes.com/cmb) the UM-HSL offers a iGoogle TAB with relevant content that can be added to your own startpage in iGoogle.

The exploration of Pageflakes was very interesting. Miss Tyler’s Third Grade Pageflake was a very simple page. I liked the Storynory podcast, audio stories for kids. Also, the bookmarks were child friendly. After viewing several flake pages, I attempted to create a page of my own.
