Pam Anderson

Canadian born Pam Anderson (a.k.a. Pamela Anderson) is an Internet news and gossip staple. This model/Playmate/cctress/author/activist has worn many hats since beginning her career in 1989 posing for LaBatt's Beer.

A bit part on TV's Home Improvement took her to a major role on Baywatch which then took her to the big screen in movies like Barbed Wire. She has co-written two fiction books, Star and Star Struck, both said to have some basis in her personal life.

Her affiliation with PETA has also kept her in the news. Among Pam's most memorable contributions to the animal activist group's efforts are her participation in their "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign and when, on June 28, 2006, she (along with others) protested in the nude in a window display of the Stella McCartney boutique in London, England. One of her latest efforts, contributing monies to the cause earned from the sale of a car with a leather interior, has also raised quite a few eyebrows.

Last but not least are her many romantic entanglements. Her two most infamous exes are Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) and Kid Rock. Nary a mention of either Tommy or Kid, in almost any form of media, can be made without Ms. Anderson's name attached.
