    Guest Review: Counting Bunnies (ImagiPLAY)

    http://rockinmama.net/ 2008/ 10/ 09/ countingbunnies/

When news broke last year of Fisher Price’s recall of lead-tainted toys, I set out to find the safest toys possible for my son.  My natural inclination to gravitate towards big toys with bright colors and loud noises was replaced with a newfound fondness for traditional wooden toys.

    My Mommy's Tote

    http://mommafindings.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 10/ my-mommys-tote.html

There was a day this Summer where the kids and I trekked out to our local bookstore to waste the day away. My children love to read and were excited to hang out and look at all the books that are available. My daughter ran across one in particular called My Granny's Purse.

William is Going Green...and so are we!

    http://redsoxmommy.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 09/ william-is-going-greenand-so-are-we.h…

Recently Parent Reviewers gave my daughters and me the opportunity to learn more about going green by reading the new children's book William is Going Green. My oldest was excited about the book from the moment it arrived and she wasn't disappointed when it came time to read it.

I am so excited to bring on board my very good friend Kristin Rowles!  She is an awesome woman and a mom to three gorgeous girls.  It is because of her that I decided to change my lifestyle in light of the fragility of our precious environment.  Please join me in welcoming her as a guest reviewer on Rockin’ Mama.

Book Review: William is Going Green

    http://momstakeonthings.com/ ?p=778

As much as I’ve been trying to take at least some small steps lately to be more ‘eco-friendly’ and environmentally conscious, I’m noticing now that it’s my daughters who are starting to call me out on the bigger issues: ‘”Mommy, we shouldn’t be throwing that away, we need to recycle!” “My teacher

    Sam Feels Better Now

    http://mommafindings.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 09/ sam-feels-better-now.html

My 6 year old son has extreme anxiety and fear issues. There are certain things we needed to avoid at a very early age such as: animals (mainly dogs), people in costumes, swimming pools (he has now conquered this fear, yippee!), Chuck E. Cheese, loud noises, natural disasters, etc.

Go “Inside the Diaper” with Huggies – and win!

    http://momstakeonthings.com/ ?p=702

A while back, Huggies® diapers produced a television commercial that generated a lot of interest and discussion – especially since it featured a baby with a special talent to well, um ‘go’ a lot.  As in A LOT.  Based on the success of the commercial, Huggies has put together a video about how it was created and the incredible ‘talent’ of the baby star.
