Into the Wild: A tasting to remember I spend the better part of my free time (by some accounts the better part of my waking hours) drinking beer and attending beer events. And yet, just when it seems like nothing will come along to top the last great festival, the last great dinner, or the last great pilgrimage to the brewery of the moment, someone comes along and does just that.

This being the inaugural installment of the 'Barstool Confessional' I thought I'd ask a fellow beer blogger to participate who I could count on for a witty and intelligent interview - Rob DeNunzio of Pfiff! undoubtedly delivered on both counts with this sometimes Dennis Miller-esque repartee.

The Session is a monthly event for the beer blogging community which was started by Stan Hieronymus at Appellation Beer. On the first Friday of each month, all participating bloggers write about a predetermined topic. Each month a different blog is chosen to host The Session, choose the topic, and post a roundup of all the responses received.

The Session is a monthly one-day event held by beer bloggers around the world, where they each post their thoughts on a unified theme. That theme, for July, is drinking beer in the “wrong” season, hosted by Rob at Pfiff!. The subject for July’s Session could be summed up thusly: Drinking anti-seasonally.

I’ve already mentioned my love affair with the new Pfiff Age of Innocence eco-friendly group. I recently had the chance to visit the Pfiff showroom and see not only that group, but the rest of the Spring/Summer Collection (Autumn/Winter too, but more about that later!).
