In a campaign designed to capitalize on the popularity of country music among their customers, Red Roof Inn enlisted the help of Little Big Town and Phil Vassar to record wake-up calls and hold messages for guests. The goal for the hotel is to become the hotel of fans and of bands, while the campaign also allows the participating artists another way to connect with fans.

Earlier today, it was announced that Discovery Communications had cleared the last hurdle to go public on the New York Stock Exchange… The move caps a years-long effort by cable magnate John Malone to untangle the complex ownership structure of Discovery, which owns a suite of U.S.
