Angela had quite a lot to say about Nick’s attempt to come up with a manifesto for Filipino Voices. The bottom line of all that came to what she says here: fv’s goals are just a tad lofty. scrap the manifesto. forget about making a difference or influencing the national discourse or doing better than mainstream media or climbing mountains a la martinlutherking.

Last year, I begged Jun Asis for an extra ticket so I can bring my wife to the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards. He was nice enough to pull some strings, and bend a few rules to accommodate a stranger’s request. This year, I won a special BlogBank award. Noemi says (via Plurk) that it’s a cute award and that it suits my personality.

The past few weeks have been too much for me at work, blogging and bloghopping seems to be an alien activity to me these days. Although I still make it a point to regularly check my dashboard but I haven’t had any new entries.

The Philippine Blog Awards, a project that started late 2006 and had its first awarding ceremony in 2007, was conceptualized to enable recognition of Filipino-owned blogs that generates quality content, reflective of the Filipino talent, in their respective niches.

My experience after having worked as a management consultant both within a consulting firm and then as an internal troubleshooter within a former client’s organisation, has led me to one important insight: Never leave it up to a consultant to come up with a plan of attack for you.

It was just a year ago when An Apple a Day was recognized as one of the Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs of 2007 (remember I won a car?). It was truly an overwhelming experience and I still get embarrassed when somebody tells me they've seen my blog.

I'm giving up hosting parties for the next few months. It's fun, exciting, but nerve wracking too! There's also so much stuff going on in the next few weeks so I just want to really sit back, relax and enjoy...

She uses the domain that I bought before which is Myjournal.ph , Her blogs is a Personal Blogs with touch of our Christian Belief. It is also a blog that discuss our Children and other matters about our Everyday Life in Saudi Arabia.
