The new lead vocalist of the American rock band Journey, the proud Pinoy Arnel Pineda is back home. He is to promote Journey’s Revelation album as well as to take a much needed rest after their successful concert tours.

I mentioned recently that I frequently read articles directed at recruiters to get a look at the other side of the hiring process. Saw a terrific story on ERE.net by Ross Clennett about how the founder and lead guitarist of the 80s band Journey, Neal Schon, attempted to recruit a new lead vocalist to replace the departed Steve Perry.

As I mentioned in my previous entry, dear hubby and I went to see Journey concert with new lead singer Arnel Pineda last Friday, September 19 at White River Amphitheater. Gosh, it was amazing. Arnel Pineda did a great job! I was shocked when I saw the sign that says "Journey concert sold out".
