Upon my return from the New Media Expo in Las Vegas I said that I regretted not mentioning that I was going to the event beforehand. So I thought I’d look at the next few months of activities and jot them down here. In October Eliza and I will be heading to Oahu, Hawaii for a Social Media Summit in Waikiki.

Yes, that is a tongue twister title, but it’s true! PodCamp NYC Sponsors sponsor PodCamp Ohio! PodCamp NYC has provided PodCamp Ohio a Gold sponsorship from the remaining funds from PodCamp NYC Sponsors. We are very grateful that they are able to assist us with sponsoring our event.

During tonights meeting we discuss PodCamp NYC with Todd Cochrane from the Geek News Central. Todd has attended PodCamp Boston and the more recent PodCamp NYC. Todd gave us some suggestions for scheduling the sessions. Apparently PodCamp NYC did not have an event guide nor event swag bags.

Todd Cochrane from the Geek News Central podcast will be on tonights meeting to tell us about PodCamp NYC. Other PodCamp NYC attendees are welcome to tonights meeting as well. We would love to know what made the PodCamp great and get ideas for PodCamp Ohio!

One of the panels I was on was led by Mr. Dan Patterson, UN Correspondent for the Talk Radio News Service and host of the Creepy Sleepy Show. The other panelists were none other than CC Chapman, Whitney Hoffman, and Chris Penn.
