We’ve got another PodCamp Ireland podcast going live at 9am this morning over on Blog Talk Radio. Myself, Krishna and Bernie will be looking back at Saturday’s event and reflecting on the hive of activity that took place in Kilkenny for the day. photo credit: topgold So PodCamp Ireland lands tomorrow, the third unconference in 12 months I’ve been directly involved in organising. Turns out, it’s not easy, but when you get to the day it’s all good. Tomorrow will be no different.

I’ve had a hot line open to Ken today as we make last minute plans for PodCamp Ireland tomorrow. If you are not able to join us, we hope to be able to share the experience with you in a number of ways, from recordings of speakers which we will post on the site after the event, to live boradcasting through Seesmic.com and through OnlineMeetingRooms.com.

One of the fields on the PodCamp Ireland registration form asks if you are interested in car pooling on the day, sharing your available car space with someone near you / on your route, or perhaps getting a lift with a fellow PodCamper - share the travel expenses down, cut the carbon output for the conference and have someone to chat to on the way to Kilkenny!

With less than 2 weeks to PodCamp Ireland to go, we’ve lots to discuss at the planning meeting this week. One of the things I know I have been forgeting in the last couple of weeks is using our hash tag for PodCamp Ireland that Bernie set up.

Podcamp Ireland Podcasting Setup Originally uploaded by kenmc I meant to get this posted to the blog a week ago or so - my podcasting set up for the Wednesday morning call for PodCamp Ireland. In the run up to PodCamp on the 27th in Kilkenny (this month) myself, Bernie Goldbach and Krishna De have been chatting every Wednesday morning at 9am for a one-hour podcast show.

As you plan your schedule for travelling to Kilkenny for PodCamp Ireland 2008, here is a reminder of our timing for the event. PodCamp Ireland talks will be scheduled between 10 am and we will aim to finish at 5-5.30pm so make sure that you let us know if there is a preferred time for you if you plan to host a session.
