I have finally gotten around to catching up on all the Atlantics that have piled up in my absence in Berlin. One very compelling article is an anonymous essay written by “Professor X,” In the Basement of the Ivory Tower. I am still trying to sort out my thoughts on this — please excuse the disjointed nature of this post.

Ok, so I loved the whole “meme” thing at first, but now it’s a little redonkulous. I fell in love with “MVM” A.K.A. “Music Video Monday”. Then I found out about desktop whatever day. Then it just started to become mush to my ears. I have given up. The whole meme deal has me all shook up.

I have some friends on Twitter, a couple on Pownce and Jaiku is the platform of choice in the swedish tech sector so I am getting into Jaiku as well (I am “andreaskrohn” on all of them). Which platform you use depends on what technology you prefer and where your friends are.

So as some of my Pownce brethren may have noticed, I’ve been away for awhile. I’ve actually been researching for the last week. You see I don’t use Twitter that much, but I’m currently hooked. I didn’t start out the week of “a little-pownce, a lot of Twitter” thinking that it’d end up as a story, but I noticed a few things.
