    Chicken Little Christianity

    http://hearttoheart.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 13/ chicken-little-christianity/

We visited a turkey farm in 2007.    I can still remember the farmer telling us as we approached the buildings to “ Be quiet ” -  not do anything to startle the birds or they might panic.  Do you know what happens when turkey’s (or chickens) get frightened?   They   run to the other end of the building, pile on top of each other and  smother.

    Looking For The Point

I don’t really have a great deal to say about today’s therapy session except that I made it but really wish I hadn’t essentially bothered. Mentally I am feeling fine but there was something about being there today that made me want to leave and not come back again.

The real threat to free speech isn't Sarah Palin: it's Muslim extremists and spineless publishers.

    Getting Graphic October 8, 2008

Just wanted to share some news that Saundra Mitchell–who just happens to be the supercool debutante author for next Monday–sent me about a week ago. This should perk up anyone’s ears who was disappointed by the demise of Minx. And while it doesn’t solve the manga v.

    Bubbles Galore

    http://daydreamgirl.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 08/ bubbles-galore/

Today has gone okay in terms of the workmen and the start of the transformation of the bathroom. I shipped Alfie off to his grandma’s just after 8am and the workmen arrived just before 8.30am. It’s been noisy with the drilling which can only be expected and the waft of dust has caused the smoke alarm to continually go on and off intermittently all day!

McBama and OCain: It's not what you think

    http://blogs.pitch.com/ plog/ 2008/ 10/ mcbama_and_ocain_its_not_what.php

By CAROLYN SZCZEPANSKI The yard signs outside the May residence on Rockhill Road look like some form of political protest. Passers-by might assume the placards are an indictment against the two major parties, an argument that the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates are too similar to represent a meaningful choice for American voters.
