    http://www.getusb.info/ worlds-largest-usb-stick-64gb-from-transcend/

This isn’t the first time we’ve reported on the World’s largest USB flash drive as that bar continues to rise. Yesterday [Sep 23, 2008] Transcend announced their newest V20 drive is available at 64GBs.  That’s as big as my laptop from 10 years ago.  Now it’s the size of my thumb.  I put the date in here to so we can reflect back in another 5 years and laugh.

Get maximum performance from Windows Vista

    http://www.pctipsbox.com/ get-maximum-performance-from-windows-vista/

Windows Vista includes a number of tools that you can use to pinpoint performance bottlenecks. Some of these, such as the System Health Report, the Windows Experience Index, and the Reliability Monitor, provide static snapshots showing the resources available to your system and where those resources might not be adequate to your needs.

Readyboost for Linux - a quick how to on getting more speed from a USB flash drive

    http://www.ubuntuhq.com/ content/ readyboost-linux-quick-how-getting-more-speed-…

Readyboost for Vista is a feature added to the OS where you can encourage your limping Vista install to jog a bit faster by essentially using a smallish USB drive as disk cache.  There’s also some Vista Voodoo with Superfetch going on there.

    Imation Atom Flash Drive

    http://www.jgadgets.com/ 2008/ 08/ 07/ imation-atom-flash-drive

Imation’s Atom flash drive clearly attempts to live up to its name of miniscule proportions, measuring a mere 32mm x 12mm x 4.8mm. Being this small doesn’t mean performance and functionality is sacrificed, as it features integrated password protection as well as drive partitioning capabilities.
