They have been having power outage issues and have been trying to get through to us today. We heard from their office in MN they have a referral for us but because of the power issue they cannot get through! Pray for their power to be on so we can get our news.

We have a daughter!

Enough said. ****UPDATE**** It will take approximately 2-3 months to get through the court system. I wish I could post a photo but due to privacy I cannot.

We are just on cloud 9, my husband even emailed he was excited. A man of few words that MDAD is, so thats a big deal. WoooHooooo! Now that we sent in our referral acceptance our dossier will be filed in their court system, and hopefully breeze right through.

Home Study is DONE!!!

Our life (well, at least the written version of our life!) is being transported to America World Adoption Agency in Virginia. There it will be reviewed to make sure that all the information needed for Ethiopia is included. The home study will be sent back to Hope's Promise where it will then be sent to our Colorado State office.

That threw Rickydoodle and I for a loop, we sure weren't expecting to see that.
