Reiki

Reiki (from the Japanese Rei = universal; Ki = life energy) is a form of energy healing discovered by Mikao Usui in early 20th century Japan. Reiki is an effective complementary healing method that has recently been shown to stimulate healthy cellular growth.

While there are many styles of reiki including kundalini and tachyon reiki, Usui is considered to be the original reiki healer. Reiki can be practiced on oneself and on others both in person and as distance reiki.

There are several reiki training levels that are taught by third or fourth level reiki masters in a series of attunements, or education and initiations into the practices of reiki.
