Restaurant

A restaurant is a business that prepares and serves food. Each year, the James Beard Awards honor some of the best chefs and their restaurants in the food industry. Restaurant reviews are a good place to start when looking for somewhere interesting and memorable to eat.

Types of restaurants include fine dining (i.e. El Bulli and The French Laundry), casual dining (ie. Cheesecake Factory and Red Lobster), family style (i.e. a BBQ joint where strangers share communal tables), fast casual (i.e. Starbucks and Panda Express), and fast food restaurants (i.e. McDonald's and Taco Bell).

There are many blogs to help you find good restaurants. Some blogs about restaurants are Chowbaby and Dining@Large.
