Ring

A ring; generally refers to jewelry for the finger. Rings can be made of a variety of materials including metals, bone, glass, wood or plastic. Often rings are set with a precious or semi-precious gemstone; diamonds, emeralds and rubies are among the more popular choices. Solitaire rings are a single stone, usually a diamond, set in the center. Eternity rings are set with stones, usually diamonds, of the same cut and size, in a row around the ring. Sleeve rings are thin inner rings or sleeves, stacked to form a solid ring. Of all of the rings created, engagement rings and wedding rings are the most popular.
