The biggest metal tour of 2008 rolled through San Antonio at the Verizon Wireless this past Sunday with Testament, Motorhead, Heaven and Hell, and Judas Priest in tow. It was Heavy Metal Parking Lot come to life, only with several more “special” parking spaces for the decidedly older crowd.

Alternative Tentacles has compiled 3 of Amebix’s earliest efforts into either one CD or one 12″ LP + a 7″ EP as No Sanctuary: The Spiderleg Recordings. I’m not a vinyl purist, so I ordered the CD, apparently one of the first 2000 mentioned at the A.T.

I started as a Tanduay fan back in 1986 and followed the animo spirit. My father was a diehard Ramon Fernandez fanatic and naturally rooted for the Rhum Masters. I grew up loving the same team my father learned to love.
