Snowboard photographer Rob Mathis has released his photo book, SLIDE. The book was produced with the help of the good guys at Podium Distribution - the guys that do DVS. The official release says “the book is a dramatic photo-journal that salutes the names that helped make modern snowboarding what it is today.” It looks awesome and I’ll be trying to suss out where to get my copy for sure!

FreeKY Fest was last Saturday and Lexington’s WRFL 88.1 celebrated 20 years in broadcasting in style bringing a long line-up of amazing artists including The Apples in Stereo, The Coup, and Mahjongg to Lexington. The festival took place atop of the Transit Center which was basically a split level, elevated parking lot situated amongst the towers downtown.
