A rather interesting linky love moment and a CHA demo item!
http://margotpotter.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ rather-interesting-linky-love-moment…Anchors Away Necklace copyright 2008 Margot Potter This is a sample of one of my demos for CHA. It’s a collaged necklace on chain with Swarovski crystal accents. The red round piece is a vintage poker chip, the image is from a vintage French travel voucher, that adorable stitched ribbon is from Offray.

Busy, busy, busy!
http://margotpotter.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ busy-busy-busy.htmlI’m writing this post on Thursday night because I have a one item hit on QVC sometime between 4 and 6pm ET on Friday. Which is today for you all because you aren’t here peering over my shoulder. At least I hope not, because that would be creepy. So why am I even telling you? I have a pathological need to tell the truth.

Favor for a Sick Friend....
http://inkstainswithroni.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ favor-for-sick-friend.htmlI have a favor to ask of you all you card makers out there in blogger land... Robin Beam - Ranger's Director of Education (and a really neat lady) is down after having knee surgery. She has posted this little contest Bandanna Technique Card Contest to keep herself busy while she is laid up.

Now this was fun...
http://studio490art.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ now-this-was-fun.htmlI had one little idea surface last night for another Maya Road card for the NY stationary show. I wanted to make a chipboard key look rusty, but only in certain areas...not the entire key. So...I used the distress embossing ink reinker, right from the bottle.

My new collaged bio photo and some overdue gratitude!
http://margotpotter.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ my-new-collaged-bio-photo-and-some.h…Yesterday afternoon I was so flustered with this not getting a bio shot that works situation, I decided to take the one I thought was the friendliest and most appealing and collage it. I made the blue sky background using a technique I discovered when working on a project for a Design Challenge last CHA.

You've heard it before...
http://studio490art.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ youve-heard-it-before.htmlLook at "things" not for what they ARE, but for what they COULD be. ***Here's an example. I was shopping one day & saw a container of wood alphabets on sale. CHEAP! Hmmm...only the letters Z and O. But, did they NEED to be letters?? NOPE... ***I bought a few of the O's with the idea that they would be cool frames for dimensional art.

You Make Me Smile!
http://stampinlibrarygirl.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ you-make-me-smile.htmlBack in February I attended an all day class with Jen Starr (Ranger Industries), and one of the pages we created that day features the Bandana Technique (created by Robin Beam, Director of Education at Ranger). I was fortunate enough to have personal instruction from Robin at another class.
